Foot the bill
意味；「勘定を払う」「費用を払う」
【例文1】
Let’s go to dinner. I’ll foot the bill.
【例文２】
I’ll foot the bill for a couple of beers.
Put (one’s) foot down
意味；「断固として譲らない」「断固拒否」
【例文】
I’m not going to work this Saturday! I’m putting my foot down.
Get off on the right foot
意味；「うまく始める」「いいスタートを切る」「出だしを上手くやる」
【例文】
I got off on the right foot with my new boss.
逆の意味でget off on the wrong footというのがあります。
意味；「出だしを誤る」「出だしで失敗する」
Set foot
意味；「足を踏み入れる」「〜を訪れる」
